| Abstract |
: Influence of the planting types and the plastic cover used, to the strawberry yield, hasbeen investiguted. There experiments were conducted at the institute during the years 1972 - 1975. Five treatments used were: a - Planting on a flot land, b- Planting on top of furraw rows, c- Planting on top of the black plastic covered furrow rows (polyethylene plastic), d- Planting on top of the white plastic covered furrow rows, e- Planting of top of the freeze - preventing white and black plastic covered furrow rows. These were repeated three times randomly. |

| Abstract |
: The experiment summarized here were aimed to obtain data on the gypsum requirement, leaching water depth and duration of leaching of Kazova - Tokat sodıc soils during the period 1974 - 1975. Leaching equations were obtained for the removal of exc. Na+ The ratio of the amount of the exc. Na+ at a certain time to the initial amount of exc. Na+ (q/qo . 100), represent the percentage of the exc. Na+ remaining in the soil. The equations are given below. Nogypsum Diw/Ds = 3.223 - 0.037 q/qo, Gypsum 2 tons/decar Diw/Ds = 2.768 - 0.037 q/qo, Gypsum 4 tons/decar Diw/Ds = 2.675 - 0.0357 q/qo, Gypsum 6 tons/decar Diw/Ds = 2.644 - 0.0419 q/qo, Equations obtained for estimating the duration of leaching are given below. No gypsum Tc = 2.7047 Ic - 0.290, Gypsum 2 tons/decar Tc = 2.6986 Ic - 0.281, Gypsum 4 tons/decar Tc = 1.3542 Ic - 0.241, Gypsum 6 tons/decar Tc = 1.5205 Ic - 0.167 |

| Abstract |
: The experiment was established in Tokat Regional TOPRAKSU Research Institute between the years 1967 - 1974 to find out daily, monthly and seasonal consumptive use, number of irrigations, time of irrigation and requirement of irrigation water in sugarbeets. Sugarbeet irrigation intervals are approximately 8 - 9 days in growing period which is 160 - 180 days. Irrigation frequencies are less during June and September and higher during July and August. The irrigation period ends during the first week off September. D treatment had a seasonal consumptive use of 1084 mm. Maximum consumptive use value was reached during July to 10.4 mm/day. The irrigation water requirement was around 844 mm and given in 10 applications. |

| Abstract |
: The experiment has been established in Tokat TOPRAKSU Regional Institute between the years of 1973 - 1975 to find out monthly consumptive use, number of irrigations and time of irrigation at WNIIMK 1646 sunflower. The moisture level 0 - 60 cm soil depth was completed to field capacity by irrigation. The result of the statistical analysis including three year yields showed that there was a difference at 0.01 degrees between the irrigations. According to the Duncan test treatment G (irrigation at bud apperance + flowering + dough stage) yield and seasonal consumptive use was 649.9 mm.

| Abstract |
: The purpose of the experiment was to find out the effects of contouring and up and down hill planting on runoff and soil loss under year winter wheat planting. The correlation between rainfall and soil loss was also determined. The experiment was conducted at the fields of Regional TOPRAKSU Research Institute which is situated an a large plain of Tokat province in a passage zone between Black Sea and Central Anatolia for 5 years in 1972 -1976. 19% of the total precipitation was in erosive potential during the whole experimental years. 3.52% and 1.98% of the total erosiver rainfall was lost as surface runoff respectively on up and down slope planting and on Contouring. Soil losses were 0.497 and 0.252 tons/ha/year respectively from up and down hill planting and Contouring.

| Abstract |
: The purpose of this experiment was to determine the fertilizer reguirement of alfalfa which was carried in the irrigation district of Çağlar Reservoir of Sivas – Yıldızeli Province during 1974 - 1977. The Treatments; 0 - 4 kg/dec N ; 0 - 7.5 - 15 - 22.5 kg/dec P2O5; 0 - 20 kg/dec K2O The most economical phosphate fertilizer dose is 18 kg/dec/year by the prices of 1978 acording to the economical analysis. These results can be for that region and the similar climates. It is recommended that producers should apply 18 kg/dec/year phosphate fertilizer under this climatical conditions on the soils with poor (avaible) P2O5 content. The results showed that nitrogen and potash fertilizers did not effect on the alfalfa yield.
